MS Ambition opened the sea cruise season in 2026. The 216-metre-long ship has become a regular visitor to Antwerp. However, the departure on 9 April did not go to plan, as the ship had to turn back 45 minutes after setting sail due to a major oil spill in the Deurganckdok in the Port of Antwerp. The ship returned to the cruise terminal after 1.5 hours and stayed for an extra day. The cruise terminal reopened and passengers were able to spend the day in the city on 10 April. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 9 & 10 April 2026.
