Interior Oriana - P&O Cruises
24/10/2014 - Oriana
MV
Oriana
is
part
of
the
fleet
of
the
British
company
P&O
Cruises.
In
1995
the
ship
was
built
in
one
of
the
covered
dry
docks
of
the
German
shipyard
Meyer
Werft.
MV
Oriana
was
built
in
such
a
way
that
she
could
also
be
sailing
longer
stretches.
Because
of
that
she
has
been
designed
with
a
very
large
storage
area.
The
draft
of
the
ship
was
too
high
to
be
able
to
dock
at
the
Scheldt
quays
in
Antwerp.
Because
of
that
the
ship
was
diverted
to
the
Leopolddock
in
the
port.
To
reach
the
dock
the
ship
had
to
go
through
the
Zandvlietlock.
