Chinese Navy in Antwerp

14>19/09/2017 - Gaoyouhu 966, Huanggang 577 & Yangzhou 578

Mid September 2017 Antwerp was able to welcome three ships of the Chinese Navy during a unique visit. Gaoyouhu 966, Huanggang 577 & Yangzhou 578 berthed in the Amerikadok in the port of Antwerp. All three ships were only a few years old at the time. The delivery of Gaoyouhu was even only in 2016. These ultramodern ships were opened to the publick on Sunday September 17 during the Flemish Port Day. This is a day that people can explore the different ports around the country and what they have to offer. Shuttlebusses were arranged to get the people to the ships.
