The
Destroyer
HMS
Diamond
D34
of
the
Royal
Navy
was
docked
in
Antwerp
for
the
first
time
in
November
2015.
The
ship
was
also
opened
to
the
public
and
in
the
helicopter
hangar
there
was
a
small
exhibitions
about
the
ship.
HMS
Diamond
is
one
of
six
Type-45
Destroyers
that
have
been
build
between
2006
and
2010
at
the
shipyard
BAE
Systems
Naval
Ships
in
Govan,
Scotland.
The
visit
of
the
ship
coincided
with
the
arrival
of
Sinterklaas,
a
tradition
of
Saint
that
brings
children
presents.
They
promoted
HMS
Diamond as an escort of the steamboat Sinterklaas arrives on.
