the
end
of
September
2013
the
South-Korean
navy
vessels
ROKS
Hwachean
AOE59
en
ROKS
Dae
Jo
Yeong
DDH977
were
docked
in
Antwerp
at
Quay
19.
The
ships
visited
all
the
countries
that
had
taken
part
in
the
South-Korean
war,
which
in
2013
was
ended
by
an
armistice
exactly
60
years
ago.
By
doing
that
they
want
to
thank
everyone
who
has
helped
them
and
they
also
want
to
strengthen
their
bond
with
Belgium.
DDH977
is
one
of
six
Navy
frigates
that
were
built
for
the
South-Korean
Navy.
AOE59
is
a
supply vessel.

the
start
of
November
2018
two
ships
of
the
South-Korean
Navy,
ROKS
AOE58
Daecheong
&
ROKS
Chungmugong
Yi
Sun-Shin
DDH-975,
were
docked
at
the
Zuiderterras
in
Antwerp.
Just
like
during
the
last
visit
of
the
South-Korean
Navy
in
Antwerp
in
2013
both
ships
were
opened
to
the
public.
DDH975
is
one
of
six
marine
frigates
that
were
build
for
the
South-
Korean
Navy.
AOE58
is
a
supply
vessel.
The
crew
members
visited
Antwerp,
the Parabase at Tielen and the headquarter of the NAVO in Brussels.
