Cunard

This ship has a length of 191 metres and was part of Cunard Line. Cunard Line was founded in 1838 by Samuel Cunard. He was one of the first who wanted to create a regular trans-atlantic connection between England and America (the New World). Cunard was sponsered by the English gouvernement because he had signed a postcontract. Therefore all his ships became RMS-ships (Royal Mail Ship). Today Cunard still does some trans- Atlantic voyages but not on a regular base anymore. The cruise line is known for its biggest oceanliner in the world: the RMS Queen Mary 2. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on the 1st of June 2002.

Delphin was built in 1975 at the Wärtsilä Shipyards in Finland. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 18 August 2002.
