Seabourn Pride

The luxury yacht Seabourn Pride opened the cruise season of 2008 in Antwzerpen The 134 metres long ship can accommodate 208 passengers and 164 crew members. Currently (2015) the ship sails as Star Pride for Windstar Cruises. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 14 May 2008.

Silver Wind

Silversea Cruises

In 2008 the Silver Wind was docked in Antwerp for the first time. The ship was built in 1994 at the Mariotti shipyard in Italy. Silver Wind is a sister ship of the Silver Cloud. Het schip heeft een lengte van 156 metres and can accommodate 315 passengers. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 25 May 2008.

Europa

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises

This ship has received more than 5 stars by Berlitz Cruise Guide for Cruising and Cruise Ships. For the second year the Europa is the decor of the culinary festival 'Europa's Beste'where top chefs prepare their best dishes on the top deck. The ship has a length of 200 metres. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 16 & 17 May 2008.

Prinsendam

Holland America Line

The Prinsendam of Holland America Line has a length of 205 metres and can accommodate 790 passengers. It is the smallest ship in the fleet of Holland America Line, sails under the Dutch flag and is registered in Rotterdam. In 1988 the ship was built as Royal Viking Sun in Turku, Finland. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 5 September 2008.

Delphin Voyager

The Delphin Voyager has a length of 174 metres and can accommodate 650 passengers. The ship was built in 1990 at Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries in Tokyo, Japan. Currently (2018) the ship is sailing as Aegean Paradise. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 17 September 2008.

Deutschland

Peter Deilmann Reederei

The only ship of the German cruise line Peter Deilmann Reederei visited Antwerp for the first time. The 175 metres long ship can accommodate 520 passengers. The MS Deutschland is the only cruise ship in the world that sails under the German flag. The language onboard is German. In Germany the ship is well-known for its role in the tv-series 'Das Traumschiff', the German version of the 'Love Boat'. On the funnel the logo of the series can be found. The ship has the status of 5-stars superior. Normally only hotels on land receive this titel. An exception was made for the Deutschland. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 21 September 2008.

Saga Rose

Saga Cruises

This was the very last time the Saga Rose was docked in Antwerp. In May 2010 the ship arrived at her final destination: Jiangyin. This is where the biggest scrapyard in China is located. The ship has the record of the most worldcruises on its name. 44 in total, this is even more then the famous Queen Elizabeth 2 from Cunard Line. The Saga Rose also sailed for Cunard Line as the Sagafjord before Saga Cruises bought the ship. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 6 December 2008.
