AIDA Cruises
This
ship

one
of
the
biggest
ships
that
ever
berthed
in
our
city.
The
special
thing
about
the
AIDA-ships
is
the
big
red
mouth
and
the
eye
on
each
side
of
the
ship.
The
ship
is
brandnew.
It
has
been
christened
in
Hamburg
on
the
9th
of
Februari
2010.
Starting
on
the
10th
of
march
the
ship
came
each
week
to
Antwerp,
and
this
8
times
in
a
row.
Until
Mein
Schiff
will
dock
in
Antwerp
the
AIDAblu is the biggest ship that ever called at Antwerp.
This ship berthed in Antwerp on 10 March 2010.

This
ship

a

The
ship
has
been
built
in
1965
at
the
Mathias-Thesen
yard
in
East-Germany.
It
was

first
time
that
a
ship

Maritime
Voyages
visited
Antwerp.

The
ship
was
built
in
1995
and was refurbished in 2005. The Black Watch is part of the Fred Olsen Cruise Line-fleet.
This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 4 May 2010.
Azamara Journey
Azamara Club Cruises
The
ship
returned
to
Antwerp
after
its
last
call
in
2009.
But
now
there
is
a
difference.
The
ship
has
gotten
a
new
logo.
The
cruise
line
changed
its
name
to
'Azamara
Club
Cruises'
adding
the
word
'club'
to
the
name.
The
ship
has a length of 181 metres and can accommodate 700 passengers.
This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 31 May 2010.

part
of
the
American
cruise
line
'Oceania
Cruises'.
On
the
outside
the
ship
is
almost
an
exact
copy
of
the
Azamara
Journey.
The
ship
is
also

can

It's
the
very
first
time
a ship of Oceania Cruises docks in Antwerp.
This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 19 July 2010.

This
sailing
ship
is
no
normal
sailing
ship,
it's
a
cruise
ship.
The
ship
has
a
length
of
117
metres
and
can
accommodate
94
passengers.
The
upperdeck
of
the
ship
completely
made
out
of
wood
and
on
the
bow
the
ship has a statue of a sea-eagle. Sea Cloud II was already berthed in Antwerp in 2006.
This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 28 August 2010.

TUI Cruises
This
ship,
that
already
should
have
visited
Antwerp
in
May
(cancelled
due
to
storm),
finally
docked
in
Antwerp,
but
not
at
the
usual
quay.
In
the
morning
the
ship
entered
the
port
of
Antwerp
via
the
Berendrechtsluis
to
berth
at
the
Leopolddok.
The
draft
of
Mein
Schiff
would
have
been
too
high
to
dock
at
the
cruise
terminal
at
the
Scheldt
Quays.
The
ship
has
a
length
of
263
metres
and
is
the
longest
cruise
ship
that
ever
docked
in
Antwerp. The ship can accommodate 1700 passengers.
This ship was berthed at the Leopolddok in Antwerp on 7 September 2010.
Black Watch

It
was
the
second
time
the
Black
Watch
docked
in
Antwerp
this
year.
This
time
she
was
welcomed
in
freezing
conditions,
with
a
thick
snowcarpet.
The
ship
brought
a
visit
to
the
Antwerp
christmas
market.The
Black
Watch
has
a
length of 205 metres and can accommodate 820 passengers. This ship concluded the cruise season of 2010.
This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 18 & 19 December 2010.
