On the 5th of May the EUROPA 2 was docked in Antwerp for the first time. The ship was not yet christened at the moment and sailed a special cruise with VIP's onboard. The Europa 2 was built at Saint-Nazaire in France. The ship has a length of 225 metres an can accommodate 516 passengers. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 5 May 2013.

The student ship Explorer was once again docked in Antwerp. The Explorer has a length of 180 metres and can accommodate 836 passengers. The Europa 2 and Explorer were both berthed at the quay together. Explorer docked at Quay 19, at the bus parking, and Europa 2 was docked at the cruise terminal. These ships were docked in Antwerp on 14 & 15 May 2013.

On 26 & 27 May the Seabourn Pride was docked in Antwerp. It had been 5 year since a ship of Seabourn called at Antwerp. The Seabourn Pride has a length of 135 metres and can accommodate 208 passengers. Currently (2015) the ship sails as Star Pride for Windstar Cruises. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 26 & 27 May 2013.

The luxury cruise ship Silver Cloud from the American cruise line Silversea was once again docked in Antwerp this year. The ship has a length of 157 metres and can accommodate 295 passengers. In 1994 the ship was built in a shipyard in Italy. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 12 June 2013.

MS Astor made her maiden call in Antwerp this year. The ship has a length of 176 metres and can accommodate 690 passengers. The ship was docked in Antwerp together with the student cruise ship Explorer. The Astor docked at the cruise terminal, the Explorer at Quay 19. These ship were berthed in Antwerp on 13 & 14 September 2013.

The Amadea was again docked in Antwerp. The ship has a length of 193 metres and can accommodate 624 passengers. The ship was built in 1991 as the Asuka for the Japanese cruise line NYK Cruises. In 2002 the ship was docked in Antwerp as Asuka. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 18 September 2013.

The Albatros from Phoenix Reisen was, just like her sister, again docked in Antwerp. The ship has a length of 205 metres and can accommodate 824 passengers. Together with the Boudicca and Black Watch from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines they form they form the former luxurious fleet of Royal Viking Line. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 2 October 2013.

The Boudicca was once again docked in Antwerp, but this year the departure was quite spectacular. During the turning manoeuvre of the ship suddenly backed-up and made contact with the quay side. A part of the quay became damaged and the ship had a dent in the aft. Read the full story here . This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 17 November 2013.

The cruise -ferry Pont-Aven visited Antwerp for the very first time this year. The ship can accommodate 2500 passengers and 650 vehicles. Brittany Ferries is sailing two special holiday cruises to Antwerp and Rouen. Pont- Aven is the first cruise-ferry to ever dock in Antwerp. This ship was berthed in Antwerp on 25 & 26 December 2013.
